Saturday, June 22nd Here's a chance for trail lovers to help keep the Santa Ysabel East Preserve beautiful and free of invasive, non-native plants. Learn which plants are invasive and what it means to habitats when those plants take over. Plan on an easy one-mile hike to the work area where we will remove non-native bull thistle, Sahara mustard, and black mustard from a seasonally marshy area just off the main trail.

Sunday, August 11th: Join San Diego County Parks staff for a nature touch table experience where you can see and touch a series of items found in nature and where you can learn about them from Park Ranger Lorena! The table will be set up from 10am until 2pm in the staging area – a great place to stop before or after you hike.
